Whirl is the band of Nikki Maoz, a young up & coming vocalist/guitarist/songwriter. Nikki's sound can best be described as mainstream/alternative pop/rock music. Her strong songwriting and powerful, distinctive voice make Whirl exceptionally chart and radio friendly. Nikki spent a few years in England fronting her own band, writing and recording. Her endeavors earned her a publishing deal with the 6th largest independent music publishing company in the UK. She has performed extensively in London, to rave reviews, at such well-known venues as the Mean Fiddler, the Underworld, and the Barfly. Nikki has reformed Whirl in New York City and is performing regularly with her new line-up. Whirl's CD was recently made in New York.
